Thursday 7th April,

Well term 1 has come to a pretty quick end. Hopefully you have all settled into the routine of our class and the organisation of our afternoon sessions. I congratulate you all for your efforts to date, especially those who have been in leadership positions. As you know there will be a change over of class responsibilities for next term which will be in the second week. New class representatives will need to be elected during the first week. I really do expect an even bigger effort from all next term, as all routines are set and you should now know where things are that you need to have a successful day.

Over the holidays a few things will need to be attempted- You all have a novel assigned to your reading group and you have been given set pages to read and related activities to go with them. Please make an effort to learn your tables and collect bits and pieces that you can use as seeds in your Writer's Notebook. I'll mention these on the homework page as well..

Please, everyone have a safe, relaxing time with your families over the holidays and may the Easter bunny be kind to you.

Cheers,
Mr Simon White

Thursday 5th May,

Today you received quite a bit of information regarding our Integrated Unit of work. Please share it with your family and consider very closely the work that you need to carry out over the term.

We will discuss it again tomorrow and answer questons that you may have. Keep inmind that the Preference Form may be returned from next Monday, but they all need to be submitted by next Thursday.

This is a great unit of work and gives you an opportunity to study an australian that you admire.

Don't forget....novel responses are due tomorrow.

Cheers,

Mr Simon White
